Drew has held many positions in his career. He has a Master of Arts in Industrial Organizational Psychology from Western Michigan University and has held certifications in ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 13485, ISO 17021, OHSAS 18001, ISO/TS 16949, QS 9000 and is a Six Sigma Black Belt. He has been involved in the 3rd party auditing since 2000. He has worked for various registrars and in 2010 started AVU with 2 others becoming accredited in 2011. In 2014 he became the sole owner of AVU and now shares ownership with Cara Lynch.
Vision: My vision is to be an honest, empathetic and impactful project leader and to be recognized internationally within my industry. I am committed to growing as a leader and delivering value-added projects to the end users. My mission is to create and lead a dream team where everyone is playing to their strengths. My vision is to also lead by example and have everyone that is important to me be successful and achieve self-awareness in life, love and work. I will achieve this through treating those that know me with respect and empathy. I will share in my victories and protect those that are important to me from any of my short comings. I will learn and grow from situations and everyone that I come into contact with.
Mission: My mission is to provide the tools necessary for everyone that is important in my life to succeed in all aspects of their life.
Commitment Statement: I am committed to the protection and advancement of people that depend on me, I will make this a priority and I will accomplish this by supporting and encouraging their efforts. I will do this with integrity, dedication, ethics and morality in all that I do. I will honor this commitment through all situations.
Cara assisted in the accounting aspect of AVU and in 2015 wanted to become more involved in the registration process. She attended ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor Training from Omnex and attended ISO 17021 training at IAS. Since that time Cara has become certified in ISO 9001:2015, 14001:2015, 13485, 27001 and 17021. In January of 2018, Cara was made a managing partner of AVU registrations. She brings a commitment and fresh perspective to the registration process. Cara is very involved in the election process in the State of Michigan. She is implementing Technical Specification ISO/TS 17582 Quality management systems — Particular requirements for the application of ISO 9001:2015 for electoral organizations at all levels of government.

To be a listening ear and lend a helping hand to those in need as we stumble along on our life’s journeys. For my passion, dedication and work ethic to show in all that I do and be reflected in my relationships with God, family, friends, colleagues, and my community.
Mission: To always strive to be the best version of myself. To be confident and self-assured despite my imperfections. To have the self-confidence and perseverance to follow through with my decisions and actions irrespective of the difficulties I face, the disappointments I experience, or the opinions of others.

Leah retired from Central Michigan University as an Executive Assistant and Isabella Township where she was the Treasurer. She has a Master of Arts in Educational Administration and Community Leadership and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. She worked in the LaBelle Entrepreneurial Center of the College of Business Administration at Central Michigan University as well as the Small Business Development Center housed within. She has authored various technical manuals and has been an adjunct faculty member for Montcalm Community College. Leah is certified in ISO 17021 and assists in the day to day operation of AVU.
